Online Therapy

Online therapy offers an effective, flexible and secure way of accessing professional psychotherapy without the need to travel. An online process provides the same level of quality, depth and care as in-person therapy, while adapting to each individual’s needs and circumstances.

I work with adults and adolescents living in Spain and throughout the European Union, offering online therapy in both Spanish and  English.

What Does Online Therapy Involve?

Online therapy sessions are conducted via video call in a confidential and secure format. The structure of the online therapy is the same as in-person therapy: regular sessions, a space for open communication and therapeutic work, and an approach tailored to each individual’s needs.

This option is especially suitable for those residing far away, experiencing mobility issues, who have a busy schedule, or those who prefer to receive therapy in a familiar setting.

When is Online Therapy Suitable?

Online therapy is suitable for a wide range of emotional and relationship concerns, offering comprehensive support across the different stages of life.

Persistent worry, physical and mental pressure, difficulty unwinding, repetitive thoughts, or a feeling of being on edge.

Prolonged feelings of sadness, apathy, lack of motivation, irritability, or a sense of emptiness.

Excessive self-criticism, guilt, insecurity, difficulty setting boundaries, prioritising yourself or trusting your own decisions.

Difficulties or considerations that arise from cultural differences and have the potential to influence communication, understanding and interactions among individuals or groups from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Confusion, guilt, emotional exhaustion, gaslighting, emotional dependence, fear, or a loss of self-confidence following relationships characterised by manipulation, control or psychological abuse.

Benefits of Online Therapy

Online therapy offers greater flexibility in scheduling, eliminates geographical barriers, and facilitates continuity throughout the therapeutic process, even if individuals need to relocate to a different country or city.

Additionally, many people prefer to initiate therapy from the comfort of their own homes, which can encourage emotional openness and commitment to the therapeutic process.

I approach online therapy with the same professional rigor, care, and evidence-based approach as I do with in-person therapy. The process is customized to suit each individual’s rhythm, circumstances, and objectives.

Confidentiality, safety, and the therapeutic relationship are also core components in an online setting.

My Approach to Online Therapy

Online therapy in English and Spanish · Available throughout Europe

I provide online therapy in both Spanish and  English for adults and adolescents living in Spain and throughout the European Union.

Working with a professional who can communicate in your language and empathize with the cultural and personal context of living abroad can facilitate emotional understanding within the therapeutic process.

If you’re unsure whether this type of therapy is right for you, we can discuss it during an initial consultation with no obligation.

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve had previous experience, online therapy can be tailored to your current situation, personal values, and unique needs.
